Monthly Wine Share

For the sake of public safety, we'll have to postpone Wine Share until a later date. Can't wait to see you when the time comes!

Where is the tasting?
Lawrence Beer Co. at 7:00 pm

Who can come?
You and everyone you know as long as you're all 21, bring ID, and purchase your share in advance(we want to make sure we have enough wine to serve everyone).

But I don't know much about wine and I'm shy talking to other people.
This is a safe space. We're not here to judge who knows more about wine - or anything else for that matter. We're just here to share and enjoy our experience. All are welcome from any background and level of knowledge!

What will it cost?
Since we'll be selecting different wines every month, the price will vary. I'll be sure to inform you of the price when I announce the wines we'll be tasting this month. We aren't doing this to make a profit, but rather to share the joy of beautifully crafted wines with you. We'll keep these costs very close to the retail price of a share of the bottles we're tasting.

How can I reserve my spot?
We'll be selling shares to the tasting out of Cork & Barrel at 2000 West 23rd street. If you don't have time to stop by that location, give us a call and we'll be happy to help you over the phone and reserve your spot at the tasting event. Our number is 785 331-4242.

Why do I have to buy a share in advance?
In order to keep your price low, we'll need to know how much wine to bring to the tasting each month. Selling the shares in advance ensures we'll have the right amount of wine at the tasting for the right price.

How will I know what you'll be tasting?
I'll edit this page every month to keep you up to date on what we'll be tasting and when.

How much wine is included with my ticket?
We will most likely have between 2-4 wines on the lineup every month. With the purchase of a share, you'll receive one 4-ounce pour of each of these wines.

I don't want my whole pour. Can I share with someone?
Absolutely! We'd love nothing more than for you to drink what makes you comfortable with friends. If the price of a ticket looks like it will be too steep, bring a friend and cut that cost in half!

Am I going to have to listen to some sales pitch the whole time?
While I and others will be available to provide knowledgeable answers to your inquiries on the wines, we're there to enjoy the wines as much as you. We'll provide a brief rundown of the wines, and after that, you're welcome to enjoy them at your leisure.

Is this a cost effective way to try these wines?
Absolutely! I'll be scouring my resources to find some really cool (sometimes really limited) wines at the most affordable price to you. Your ticket will virtually be the cost of 1/5 of each bottle(no corkage fee, no restaurant markup).

Can I buy a bottle of these wines if I like them?
I'll do my best to find wines that are available to order after we taste, but if I find something super-limited that can't be reordered, you wouldn't be mad if I shared it with you, right?
