Welcome back to Cork & Barrel's Spirit Series Class. This class will journey through the evolution of Boot Hill Distillery's Bourbon Whiskeys, beginning with their flagship, and ending with the oldest bourbon they have ever released.

Boot Hill Distillery was founded in 2016 by fifth-generation farmer Hayes Kelman and his father, Roger Kelman. They believe that every great spirit starts with great grain, which is why they proudly embrace a true “soil to sip” approach—cultivating, harvesting, and distilling only the finest grains from their own Kelman Farms. With deep roots in Kansas soil and a shared Kansas State University legacy, Hayes envisioned a new path for the grains grown on the family farm. When they learned the old City Hall in Dodge City was on the verge of being condemned, they saw an opportunity. The Kelmans transformed this storied landmark into a vibrant distillery. Nearly a decade later, Boot Hill Distillery continues to thrive, sharing the spirit of Kansas across state lines into Missouri, Oklahoma, and beyond. Fueled by a commitment to quality, love for the land, and passion, Boot Hill Distillery delivers the best of Kansas in every bottle.

Samples included in this series are a "welcome cocktail", the flagship Boot Hill Bourbon, the Straight Wheat Whiskey, the Series IV Rodeo Cowboy Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey, ending with the 7-year Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey. Both the Rodeo Cowboy Edition and the 7-year Single Barrel are extremely limited, attendees will not only have a chance to taste but also purchase these allocated bottles, something we are only offering for this class.

Tickets for this class are $10.00 and may be purchased in-store at the 23rd St. location of Cork & Barrel. All ticket proceeds will be donated to Big Brother Big Sisters of Lawrence KS.
